Empowering Adolescent Girls in Mau & Ghazipur District, Uttar Pradesh
The “Our Girls – Our Pride” program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at addressing the challenges faced by adolescent girls in the Mau District of Uttar Pradesh, India. The program is being implemented in 195 Gram Panchayats, specifically targeting the most backward blocks of Ratanpura, Varachawar, and Manihari.
The program’s core focus lies in empowering adolescent girls through the establishment of strong support groups and the development of their capacity to address key issues they encounter. It seeks to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate their lives effectively and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
